My story
Before design I spent 15 years working on content inside tech companies, including Tiqets, Oura, Mintos and Kioxia. Over time my work expanded into SEO, UX content and eventually data-driven decision making. I started asking questions about why people behave the way they do on websites, and I couldn't stop. That curiosity led me to design. And it shapes how I approach every project. Not just how it looks, but what it makes people do when they land on it. I design in Figma and build in Framer, which means I take a project from first sketch to live site without handing it off.

My philosophy
I see design as a way to tell your story. It should reflect something real about you or your brand rather than borrowing from a template or chasing a trend. But a website isn't just a story. It's a journey. Every section has a job. Every visual choice either moves the visitor forward or gets in their way. I think about both things at once. The world we're creating and the path we're building through it. The creative challenge is making those feel like the same thing.

Beyond design
When I'm not designing I'm usually outside with a camera. Photography taught me to see light, composition and mood long before I understood design, and that eye shapes everything I make. You can see some of my work on Instagram at @jordichaseslight.
